5 Facts About Me

1. I am a modern, Military Spouse & Mom!

I like to think that I’ve always been a Wanderlust! I have moved 10 times in the last 18 year. I have crisscrossed the United States, and spent the last 4 years living in Germany. I somehow still have the same full set of silverware from my wedding, but have accumulated a ridiculous amount of curtains along the way.

With 2 daughters & 2 female dogs, my Husband is hopelessly outnumbered in our home. While I don’t love the color pink, I love everything about raising two little ladies! We are knee deep in nail polish, Taylor Swift & attitude at the moment.

Our family does things a little differently than most & we have a hell of a good time along the way.

2. I collect experiences!

I am constantly searching for views that take my breath away. I love to experience new places, new people & new food. The feel of the Greek sun, the breeze off the Spanish Coast, the taste of a locally grown French wine & that first bite of homemade Italian Carbonara are some of the best moments I’ve collected during my travels. Book a plane or train and I’m there - with my family in tow!

3. Cheese is its own food group!

Hard, stinky, semi-soft, Italian, French - I am here for all of it! Cheese belongs on everything. A charcuterie plate, with a glass of wine, is my perfect meal. This beautiful wall of Gouda cheese is from the cutest family farm, in the Netherlands, outside of Amsterdam. Check them out here.

4. I’m a wellness junkie!

I love to run, I find totally exhausting myself to be the most relaxing part of my day. I don’t discriminate when it comes to exercise - barre, HIIT & spin are at the top of the list too! Vitamins, supplements, serums - sign me up! While I like to keep things as organic & natural as possible, I’m hoping to schedule my first BOTOX appointment soon, while I sip my Diet Coke - balance, right?

5. My favorite store is TJ MAXX!

...or TK Maxx here in Germany.I  love not knowing what will come home with me that day, it is like a little treasure hunt! I always seem to find a new serving platter, saddle leather sandals, fun cocktail napkins,  or another damn pillow sham. I love nice things, but love a nice deal even more.
